API - Application Programming Interface

An API is an automated way for a computer program to accomplish a defined task such as retrieving or modifying data.

The Easy-Forex® proprietary API allows you to connect to the Easy-Forex® trading platform and perform actions that are provided by the platform, such as trading functions, receiving quotes and retrieving market information. The Easy-Forex® API is a Web Service (SOAP) interface and as such can be accessed using any available technology such as Microsoft.net, JAVA, C++ and other. Trading functionality does not require any setup on the client side.

Easy-Forex® API is for traders that wish to use an automated trading system or for those wishing to develop their own trading application. The API is free to clients of Easy-Forex®.

There are 3 services provided in the Easy-Forex® API:

Streaming price feed – provides real time executable Forex prices.
Trading service – provides an interface for trading through the Easy-Forex® platform, such as opening and closing deals, changing stop loss and take profit values of the deals, checking the status of the deals, user's account, user's open positions, etc.
Market info service – provides an interface for retrieving general information about the FOREX market such as interest rates, economic indicators etc., as well as specific proprietary information provided by Easy-Forex® such as the Inside Viewer™ data.

Please note, that in order to use the Easy-Forex® API’s, you must enter into the license agreement with Easy-Forex® that is made available to you as part of the API application pack and agree to comply with and be bound by the Terms of Use set forth therein; if you disagree with any of these terms, Easy-Forex® will not grant you a license to use the Easy-Forex® API’s..
